Quote the exact procedure name, CPT code, and price basis (cash vs. negotiated) you saw, and ask the hospital's billing office to confirm it applies to your situation.
Example
Say: "Your published file shows a $850 discounted cash price for CPT 74176 (CT abdomen without contrast) — can you confirm that applies if I pay at time of service?" Naming the code avoids being quoted a different, similarly-named scan.
