Facility fee vs. professional fee
The facility fee covers the building, staff and equipment; the professional fee is the separate bill from the doctor who treated you — two bills for one visit.
Example
An X-ray might generate an $800 facility fee from the hospital and a separate $95 professional fee from the radiologist who read the image — both for the same scan.
